There are some conflicts that cannot be adequately dealt with by internal or external mediators. Some conflicts require a “finding of fact” or a finding of right and wrong before corrective action can be taken. These situations often involve allegations such as harassment, bullying, breach of workplace Codes of Conduct or other workplace wrongdoing. In such cases workplace investigators are called in. The investigators review all appropriate documentation including policy and law, interview the complainant, the respondent and all witnesses. The investigators then make a finding concerning the matter in question. They may also make recommendations for corrective or other action. MDR is experienced in delivering workplace investigations and in making sensible and cost effective recommendations for corrective action.
