Zoë Barrett-Wood

Zoë supports individuals and groups in finding new ways to communicate, with the aim of transforming their relationships, workplaces, and communities.

She is trained as a mediator and facilitator, and has a background in the sciences and the performing arts. She has experience with: group mediation; workplace conflict assessments and restorations; and theatre-based processes for conflict transformation, community building, and political advocacy. Drawing on her work as an actor and improviser, Zoë also works as an improv and conflict management trainer.

The biological environment and our role within it has been a lifelong focus of Zoë’s. She worked for a decade as an environmental consultant focused on land protection, resource development, Indigenous rights, and community health. In her free time she’s often out hiking and camping in the wilderness.
