Mediation

A mediator is an impartial and neutral third party who assists parties to voluntarily reach their own settlement of a dispute. In mediation, the parties control the outcome and the mediator provides the process.

Mediation is confidential, efficient, and economical as compared to more formal dispute resolution processes such as litigation.

Workplace Assessments and Restorations

A workplace assessment discovers the perceptions of an organization’s employees on the work environment and provides a foundation for proactively addressing workplace concerns. A workplace assessment can help determine what is working well in an organization and what needs to be addressed. This allows the organization to leverage what is working well while addressing what needs to be changed.

Workplace Investigations

There are some conflicts that cannot be adequately dealt with by internal or external mediators. Some conflicts require a “finding of fact” or a finding of right and wrong before corrective action can be taken. These situations often involve allegations such as harassment, bullying, breach of workplace Codes of Conduct or other workplace wrongdoing. In such cases workplace investigators are called in.

Workplace Conflict Resolution

When faced with disruptive conflict in the workplace, doing nothing is not a smart option. Having said that, it is often unnecessary to conduct a full workplace assessment in order to effectively deal with workplace conflict or toxic or problematic environments.
