Legal Disputes

As a former practicing lawyer, President of the County of Carleton Law Association, and professor of Negotiation, Mediation and Professional Legal Ethics, Richard understands the role of lawyers and the dynamics of legal disputes.

He has successfully mediated many hundreds of legal disputes with lawyers and their clients. Areas where he has mediated include: commercial contracts, employment and workplace, health care, human rights, estates, professional responsibility, real estate, personal injury, insurance, construction, family and property disputes.

Richard has been granted the Chartered Mediator, Certified Family Mediator, and Chartered Arbitrator designations from ADR Institute of Canada and Certified Mediator  from the International Mediation Institute in The Hague.
